September 7, 2021, Dillsburg, PA -- New Hope Ministries has emergency response assistance resources available to help:
• people impacted by the remnants of Hurricane Ida and experiencing crisis because of loss of safe housing or basic needs due to weather-related damages from last week's storms, including help with immediate needs such as food and temporary housing assistance; and
• people affected by the loss of unemployment assistance and reversal of the eviction moratorium, by offering help with food, rent and mortgage payments, and job search and job training programs.
Residents of the communities served by New Hope Ministries are invited to call New Hope Ministries at (717) 432-2087 or visit a service site for information. For those living outside of New Hope's service area, the PA 2-1-1 helpline provides service information and referrals for similar programs across the Commonwealth.
